Can I share my recipes with others?
Yes! You can make recipes public so anyone can view them, or use the share feature to create a temporary link. Public recipes appear in the "Public Recipes" section where others can view and comment on them.
How do comments work on public recipes?
Anyone can comment on public recipes, even without an account (they'll show as "Anonymous"). Logged-in users can choose to comment with their name or anonymously.
Tips & Tricks
What's the best way to format ingredients?
List each ingredient on a separate line. Include quantities and measurements (e.g., "2 cups flour", "1 tsp vanilla extract"). This makes recipes easier to read and follow.
How should I write recipe steps?
Write each step on a separate line and number them if desired. Be clear and specific (e.g., "Preheat oven to 350°F" rather than just "Heat oven").
Can I edit imported recipes?
Absolutely! After importing a recipe, you can edit any part of it - title, ingredients, steps, or description. This is helpful for personalizing recipes or fixing any import errors.
Troubleshooting
Recipe import isn't working. What should I do?
Make sure you're using the full URL (starting with http:// or https://). Some websites have different structures that may not import perfectly. You can always create the recipe manually or edit the imported version.
I can't find a recipe I created. Where is it?
Check if you're filtering by a specific category. Use the search box to look for the recipe by name. If you made it public, it might also appear in the Public Recipes section.
